The scope and cost of evaluations vary depending on the specific referral questions and individual needs. Each evaluation is tailored to address the unique concerns presented, ensuring a thorough and personalized assessment. The following is an estimate of how much each evaluation may cost, and a Good-Faith Estimate will be provided to you at the time of intake after confirming what will be entailed in the evaluation.
Tier 1 - $1500 - A Tier 1 Evaluation typically consists of an intake appointment, one testing appointment, and a feedback session to review results. This type of evaluation will assess for symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other behavioral patterns, and consists of cognitive testing and various rating scales to be completed by you, your child, and teachers or observers.
Tier 2 - $2000 - A Tier 2 Evaluation typically consists of an intake appointment, two testing appointments, and a feedback session to review results. This type of evaluation consists of everything under the Tier 1 evaluation as well as an additional day of testing to address specific concerns like a learning disorder, autism spectrum disorder, or obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Tier 3 - $2500 - A Tier 3 Evaluation typically consists of an intake appointment, three testing appointments, and a feedback session to review results. This type of evaluation consists of everything under the Tier 1 Evaluation as well as two additional days of testing to address specific concerns. One example might be assessing for both autism spectrum disorder and a learning disorder. This may also be most applicable with more complex or comorbid conditions.
Independent Educational Evaluations - IEEs are comprehensive assessments conducted by an independent evaluator to provide an objective perspective on a student’s learning needs. The scope of an IEE typically follows the tiered evaluation structure described above; however, in cases where there are significant records to review, additional costs may apply. Fees for IEEs generally range from $1,500 to $3,000. Families may choose to pay for the evaluation themselves and seek reimbursement from the school district, or they may arrange for the school to cover the cost directly if the district is willing.
Individual therapy is tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. It may include techniques and approaches drawn from a variety of therapeutic modalities to best support personal growth and well-being. Therapy often involves practice or homework assignments between sessions to help build skills and reinforce progress. The duration of treatment varies based on the specific concerns and the individual client’s progress. Typically, when initially establishing a therapeutic relationships, it is recommended to meet once a week, but this may be spread out to every other week or monthly appointments after initial progress has been made. Session length will vary by client and progress within treatment, and cost per session will be as follows, unless otherwise agreed upon:
60 min session - $150.00 - Actual time with the provider will be roughly50 minutes
45 min session - $112.50 - Actual time with the provider will be roughly 40 minutes
30 min session - $75.00 - Actual time with the provider will be roughly 25 minutes
PCIT is a specialized, evidence-based treatment designed for young children (typically ages 2-7) and their caregivers. This therapy focuses on improving child behavior and strengthening the parent-child relationship through live coaching of parents in specific skills that promote positive interactions and effective management of challenging behaviors. It will be primarily completed virtually, though some sessions may be conducted in person. Participation requires access to a camera and headphones or earbuds.
